We want to help you!
We want to help local church youth ministries in equipping and training adults and students in “disciplevangelism.” We have seen the need to gather students to inspire them and equip them for ministry. Our hope is to reach over 150 leadership students across our region in the winter of 2010 for exciting worship, fellowship and training. Our biggest goal is to give young people a vision and a purpose for their Christian walk.
The 3R's - We look to help youth ministries Remember how important the task is before us. Re-Group to evaluate the ministry to see how it stands up to the call to "Go Make Disciples." Revitalize to bring new life to the ministy and not necessarily to start over, but to look for ways to improve and possibly increase ministry.
Who Should Attend?
Adult leaders should bring Middle School or High School teens who have shown leadership traits and/or have shown a desire to deepen their faith in Christ.
What’s the cost?
The cost will be $10.00 a person and this includes the awesome program, materials, books, prizes and snacks. If you bring more than 5 people from your church it is a flat fee of $50.00. Bring 10 and it is still only $50.00! Bring 15 it is still only $50.00! What a deal!
What’s the schedule?
We will have time for worship, training and reflection. “NCR” Praise Band from Eastern University will be leading our times in worship. Rev. Eric Kraihanzel, our Student Ministries Coordinator and Adjunct Professor of Youth Ministries at Eastern University, will be leading each training time. Training will focus in on personal challenge/training and how the 7 Week Experiment Material can be used in your church’s youth ministry.
7 Week Experiment Training?
You might be asking, “What is the 7 week experiment?“ It is a 7 week series built around Acts 2:42-47 where it was clear the early church was about building disciples to care and love for each other with a wonderful side effect— “people were being saved!” Simply put, it is a ministry curriculum tool to help move young people through an intentional discipleship process to help teens reach out to their friends with the powerful Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
